Founded in 2010, Little Red Catering Co. offers our customers professional catering without compromise.
We are family-owned and operated in Newmarket, Ontario. Since opening in 2010, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.
Donna Olding, Chef/ Owner
Chef, Donna Olding has over 25 years experience in the culinary industry. In 1995 Donna graduated the chef pre-employment program at George Brown College and was a member of Jr. Escoffier.
She started her apprenticeship at the Keltic Lodge in the beautiful Cape Breton Highlands. With the guidance of award winning chef Gilles Hostal she honed her skills in the Garde Manger.
In 2000 Donna completed the apprenticeship program at Humber college and became a red-seal certified chef.
Since then she has worked in many diverse culinary settings. From fine French dining to corporate catering. In 2006 Donna joined the team at Magna Golf Club in Aurora, On. as a chef de partie. For the 6 years she was there Donna served many well known people with the utmost dedication to service.
As well as starting Little Red Catering, she was also the executive chef of a social enterprise catering company. Through this program she taught people with employment barriers valuable culinary skills and got the catering program up and running.
Over the past 5 years Little Red Catering has grown into a full time company which now employs up to 15 people from the community.
